How To Choose A CNC Woodworking Router?

Table size:

The table size is important because it is related to the size of the raw material and/or the number of pieces that must be cut at a specific time.

1) If you produce furniture or doors, it is best to choose a professional woodworking CNC engraving machine, the general model size is 1300*2500mm, 1500*3000mm, 2000*3000mm, etc.

2) If you want to make wood, foam, EPS molds, you should choose professional wood and foam molding CNC machines

3) If you don't know how to use machines to make crafts, gifts, not large pieces, and the materials are wood, PVC, plastic, glass, etc., you can choose a mini CNC engraving machine, which can produce multiple workpieces at a time.

Spindle:

The working mode and power of the spindle are very important for CNC milling machines. There are generally two types of spindles. One is a water-cooled spindle, and the other is an air-cooled spindle. Choose the right spindle, it depends on your material and the highest temperature of the local weather in your country/region.

1) If your material is soft, such as MDF, PVC, you will not be able to make small pieces of handicrafts, a water-cooled spindle with lower power, 2.2KW, 1.5KW will do.

2) If you want to produce furniture or doors, engraving, and cutting, we recommend that you choose an air-cooled spindle. When the material is solid wood, the spindle power should be above 3.5KW. The CNC engraving machine independently developed by our factory currently uses an air-cooled spindle. If the material is MDF, 3.5KW and 4.5KW are enough for you.

Control System:

The control system of the CNC engraving machine includes a DSP control system, Nc Studio control system, Taiwan Xinda control system, and so on.

Machine guide:

There are many types of guide rails in China, and Taiwan brands are generally used. For the 1325 model, 20mm, 25mm size guide rails are sufficient, but for larger size CNC engraving machines, you should choose a larger size guide rail, such as 30mm. Large-scale CNC engraving machines must adopt imported widened square rails.
